Corporate Services Division
Overview
The Corporate Services Division is the nerve centre for the Ministry's operational requirements. It leads in developing and implementing a range of strategic business solutions, which facilitate the Ministry's core business.
The Division undertakes the drafting of policies to inform the best fit in the Ministry's recruitment and selection process, ensures the maintenance of the culture, safeguards the procurement needs and implements various ICT solutions.
Branches
Corporate Communications and Public Relations
The Corporate Communications and Public Relations Branch manages the Ministry's internal and external communications, coordinating media relations, public affairs, and strategic communications to promote transparency and public confidence in the Ministry's operations.
Information, Communication and Technology Services
The Information, Communication and Technology Services Branch is responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and digital solutions that support the Ministry's core operations and strategic objectives.
Public Procurement Branch
The Branch is responsible for the procurement of goods and services required to support the Ministry in the attainment of its strategic objectives. It ensures that procurement procedures are competitive, transparent, and compliant with the laws, guaranteeing that goods and services are provided in a timely and efficient manner. The development of an annual Procurement Plan aligned with approved budgetary provisions is another key responsibility.
Human Resource Management and Administration
The Human Resource Management and Administration Branch manages the Ministry's human capital, ensuring a competent, motivated, and well-supported workforce. It develops and implements HR policies and programmes that align with the Ministry's strategic goals and national security priorities.
Strategic and Customer Service
This Branch encompasses Customer Service, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance and Quality Management — working together to modernise the Ministry's operations and embed a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. It oversees the Customer Service Improvement Plan and ensures compliance with the Data Protection Act and the Service Excellence Policy.
Office Services
The Office Services Branch is responsible for the administrative and logistical support functions that ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Ministry. It oversees facilities management, fleet management, records management, and general administrative support services.
